Desi6 RULES 2008
As such we have never liked to make our members follow any rules. At Desi6 Forum, we encourage freedom; we encourage flow of thoughts... but as always this too comes at a price, a small one though
There are certain rules and regulations which needs to be followed in this Forum and if you follow them, you don't need to worry. If you are not, you will be warned to a certain level and may get banned. We highly recommend that you read these rules before posting !!!
So always READ THE ANNOUNCEMENTS & STICKIES(it's the top post in any given forum)!
So please follow them and you love your stay here.
Feel free to Post your Comments/ Suggestions in the “SUGGESTIONS” Forum and help us Improving, but please leave the moderating to the Moderators.

1 - No bad language or cursing or abuse of fellow members is permitted

DO NOT just make a negative statement and leave the person hanging out to dry. Although you may consider yourself to be an "expert" now, try to remember that we were all new and learning once upon a time. Take it easy on your fellow members!
DO NOT make threats or implied threats towards other members - even if you think it's fun.
DO NOT make inappropriate or offensive posts - including threats, harrassment, swearing, prejudice, slander or deliberate insults/name-calling, or other negative remarks about Desi6, its moderators and administrators, or your fellow members.
Even if this is just your own personal opinion, RESPECT YOUR FELLOW MEMBERS.
Desi6 believes in integrity and respects what other forums have to offer. Because we realize members of Desi6 may also be members of other forums, do not try to degrade or discredit other forums, their administrators and moderators, or their members. 2 - Go through the forum (help section) before asking any question
Please read the Disclaimer, browse the forum’s FAQ, and use the Search function before asking any questions!
DO NOT post the same topic in multiple sections. If you are unsure of which section a thread should go under, just state that in your post, and a moderator will move the thread to the correct section. Multiple posts are unnecessary and will be deleted.
DO NOT post the same question multiple times in multiple threads in the same section. If no one responds to your question or request, just post a reply to the same message thread again to bring the message to the top of the list so folks notice it.
3 - No language other than English, Hindi, Urdu and Punjabi in the forums
Even though this is an international forum, please make sure that your posts are written in English or Hindi. No systematic foul language (and none at all on titles).
4 - NO ADVERTISEMENT / SPAM of any sort
You are expected not to advertise other Forums when here on Desi6 Forum for obvious reasons.
Please make sure that you are posting for the good of the community, not just for the sake of self-promotion.
DO NOT use the Desi6's community for the purpose of "SPAM" or Advertisements! This includes forum posts, private messages, or emails to other members. Our moderators reserve the right to edit or delete any posts they consider to be "SPAM".
We Request all the users not to Post Any Video, Pic or ScreenShot which Contains Names/Links/ Watermarks of other BLOGS/Forums. We Treat this as ADVERTISMENTS / SPAM !! which is Strictly Under ZERO TOLERANCE ZONE.
WHO SO EVER POSTS VIDEO or Pics CONTAINING Names of or Links to BLOGS/FORUMS, Watermarks ( Treated as ADVERTISEMENT in Desi6 ) The Thread would be trashed . No Matter who Posted it and How Much Populated that thread is, the thread would be trashed and the member who posted it would get warning points and repeated posts like this can lead to BAN.
Here is an Example Which Shows ADVETISEMENTS:
We take PM/email abuse very seriously.
If we find that you are spamming our community, you will be warned by a Moderator or Admin, and it may lead to the deletion of your posts and/or the removal of your account. If you have been spammed via PM/Email, please let our Moderator/Admin know.
There are plenty of sections in which you can post apart from spamming the Forum.. just reply the existing posts. If u like some topic then post your reply in there... if u like to discuss something... then make a new topic... but make it in right section and check also that the topic didn't exist before creating a new one !! Try to stay on topic as far as you can.
We often delete posts which are one or two word / off topic or only smilies... so it might be the reason of decreasing of your posts !! The number of posts are shown on left below your username.
NO DOUBLE POSTINGS or making many posts in the same thread. Instead, EDIT your first post.
If you made a mistake and double clicked: Submit. Please delete your last post and if you can't delete, just ask any Mod and he/she will delete it.
5- Religious Concerns
DO NOT POST MATERIALS RELATING TO RELIGIOUS CONCERNS!!!
Religion (that means no racism) should not be involved in any threads/posts.
6 - Try Being an active poster, not just a leecher
We simply don’t need these kind of members. Please go to some other forum and waste your time there. You will also be in restricted list. All high traffic forum heads will be exclusive for those members who post and encourage the genuine posters. No Leechers will be allowed here.
Do Reply/ post generously as your Replies/ posts brings a smile to the Original Posters and encourage them too. They also read your reviews and post accordingly your choices. Make it a habit to post and reply.
7 - Avatar, Signature, Banner, Colour & Font Restrictions
Avatars and Signatures are given to make your stay nicer, don't abuse it:
Avatar Restrictions:
No violations against any religion, groups, firm nor business whatsoever; Don't use someone else's avatar/signature from this forum; No advertisement of any kind is allowed!
Signature Restrictions:
No links outside this site in your signature; No violations against any religion, groups, firm nor business whatsoever; No advertisement of any kind is allowed!
Colour Restriction:
Members are requested Not to use Red As well as Blue Colours in Replies. Both these colours are Reserved for Mods & Admins.
Font Restrictions:
DO NOT use excessively large font sizes, as it is considered to "shouting" and will be edited back down to the default size by the moderators.
8 - Creating/ Uploading Torrent, Uploading file
When you upload a torrent file make sure its placed in the correct place/subforum, and DONT upload more torrents into same thread/topic!
Make sure to SEED it until atleast 5 persons get the file!!
When you create a thread/topic and uploads a torrent file within it , make sure to ADD information such as: credit to the ripper(s), file basic information (size, name, how many files) and screenshots.

Make Sure that you create a Torrent out of a folder which contains desi6.com in folder name as well as the video clip name ( i.e, Desi6.com should be included both in video clip name as well as the folder name.
Make Sure to include a "www.desi6.com.txt" file in the Folder mentioning that The Torrent is Downloaded from Desi6.com
It is recommended to add as much information as possible, to make it look good!
9 - Reputation
Reputation system maybe not be abused, your only allowed to give others reps if you honestly feel, they've done a good job.
10 - Invite system
Our invite system may not be abused, your not allowed to SALE the invites out! if we find you selling your invites, you will be perm banned. It is highly recommended that you invite your nearest friends or family members.
11 - Each forum member may have only one account
If we find any member registering multiple accounts with intent to disrupt the community then all the accounts held by that particular member would be deleted without information.
12 - Using an invalid email address for your user account or using someone's else user id is not allowed.
13 - Any attempts to breach forum security, or gain unauthorized access into user accounts. This includes the action of guessing passwords, successful or not. Assisting others with such attempts or actions constitutes a violation.
14 - Exploiting, or attempting to exploit, forum bugs, vulnerabilities, or loopholes constitutes a violation.
15 - Registering accounts with usernames or using screen names that are offensive or created with intent to cause disruption to the forums constitutes a violation.
16 - Help us by reporting dead links
When u look out for posts in any section, there are chances that some links mayn't be working !! Dont post "Not Working" n' things like that ... rather Help us by repoting that thread/ Link in our “REPORT DEAD LINKS” Section. Moderators would take care of same.
17 - Never agrue with a Moderator
Moderators here lay out the Law and Enforce them, DO NOT argue with them.
18 - Copyright issues?
Kindly report this to "Contact Us" and our abuse team will look into it. Before reporting a copyright issue kindly read our TOS (Term of State) as it will be used against you if we refuse the report.
Admins and Moderators have all rights to edit any message if they feel it's not appropriate! Also all the repeated posts would be deleted! The administration reserves the right to change these rules at any time, with immediate and retroactive effects.

First of all let us explain what is voyeur. Dictionary describes VOYEUR as:
A person who derives sexual gratification from observing the naked bodies or sexual acts of others, especially from a secret vantage point.
So quite simply, the pics/vids where the person doesnt know he/she is being shot are NOT allowed.
However, we do make an exception to this rule.
If you can blacken the face of the person in question (and every person in the pic/vid) so it is no longer identifiable, we can allow it.
We are here to have fun, but not at someone else's dignity's cost.

If there is no screen-shot your thread no matter how popular will get deleted...

TRY adding as much information as possible to the thread such as screenshots, type of Format, Duration, movie name, CD/ DVD covers, Names of Actors/ Actresses, Producers, Directors, Year of Release etc.

This is a Desi site...so why post Non-Desi stuff. We do not encourage/ welcome Non Desi posts, however if you really want to share some Non Desi Stuff pls do that in Non Desi Category of that particular section.

A REQUEST - PLEASE POST THUMBNAILS AND NOT FULL PICS.
If a thread/post of yours contains more than 2 images or you know that the image you are going to post is going to be third (or more), then please POST THE IMAGE AS THUMBNAIL and not the full pic.
This saves the hosting site its bandwidth and the reader of the thread (on a slow connection) does not need to wait minutes and minutes before the thread fully loads.
COPYRIGHTED SOFTWARES & OTHER STUFF LINKS ARE FORBIDDEN
It is illegal and forbidden uploading, distributing, Giving, discussing, requesting, or linking to information that is either directly or indirectly related to obtaining pirated or unauthorized copyrighted materials, serial numbers, serial number generators and No-CD patches may result in an immediate ban.
Users are requested NOT TO POST any kind of software links " Please report such posts by using REPORT button”.

However, we don’t intend to put a blanket ban on such topics. So, if you feel you have a valid point and have facts to support your point, you can still raise your point.
At any instance, if the topic seems meaningless/ needless, it shall be closed under mgmt.'s discretion.
DISCOURAGING REPLIES NOT ALLOWED
You are expected not to discourage other members who post. Replies like "Video already posted at XXX", "This video leeched from some-site", "a video without caps is crap" etc are strictly not welcome. Asking for caps is different than trashing the thread altogether.
Don’t discourage member from posting.
One is not expected to do an extensive research before posting any topic and moreover, a topic seen by you could be unseen by many. If you don’t have anything constructive to say, DONT REPLY.

SOME POSTS TREATED AS VIOLATION OF RULES
Flooding the forum with redundant messages, empty messages, advertisements, clearly irrelevant “+1 Post Count” messages, and/or nonsensical posts.
Posting messages that are inflammatory and made simply with the intent to provoke disruption to the forum and encourage, incite or continue ‘flame’ threads.
